Vegan Christmas Tree Brownies

Deck the halls with plant-based Christmas tree brownies!


  • Preheat the oven to 175C and grease a brownie tin.

  • Combine the flour, sugar, cacao powder, baking powder and salt together in a mixing bowl. Pour in the water, oil and vanilla and mix until a smooth batter forms. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish.

  • Bake for 30 to 40 minutes and leave to cool. Once cool, cut the brownies into triangle shapes and insert the end of a candy cane into the bottom of each triangle (see image).

  • Mix the icing sugar with the sugar and drizzle on top, sprinkle with decorations and serve!
