Shiitake Chow Mein

Whip up this delicious dish in no time at all!

Instructions

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the noodles until al dente and separated. Drain and transfer to a large bowl. Toss with 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil and set aside.

  • Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a wok over a high heat until smoking. Add the cabbage, cook until lightly brown (around 2 minutes) and transfer to a large bowl and set aside. Add 1 tablespoon of oil to the wok, return to the heat until smoking, add the mushrooms and cook until lightly browned and tender.

  • Add the chives, cook then transfer to the cabbage bowl. Add the remaining 1 tablespoon of oil to the wok until smoking, add the noodles until hot, tip in the cabbage, mushrooms, chives and garlic. Toss and cook until fragrant.

  • Drizzle the sesame oil on top a long with the soy sauce and wine. Stir and cook, season with salt and white pepper and serve immediately.
