Savoury Spinach & Cheddar Cheese Loaf

This savoury loaf is so easy to make it requires no rise time at all!


  • Preheat the oven to 180C and line a loaf tin with baking paper.

  • Over a medium heat, heat a tablespoon of olive oil and saute the onions and garlic. Season with salt and pepper.

  • Using a large mixing bowl, sift in the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Stir in the sauteed onions and garlic a long with the grated cheddar cheese.

  • In a jug, mix the eggs, milk and oil together, create a well in the middle of the mixing bowl and pour in the mixture.

  • Combine the mixture thoroughly, pour in to the prepared loaf tin and place in the oven for an hour or until golden brown.
