This combo of flavours, steeped in hot water are quite simply a delight!
Crush the liquorice root, fennel seeds and cardamom pods slightly. (Use a pestle and mortar or carefully use the back of a knife).
Boil the water, add the liquorice root, fennel, cardamom to a saucepan and pour over the hot water. Leave to steep for 9 minutes, add the petals and rose bud, mix and leave for 1 minute.
Use a tea strainer to pour and enjoy!
