Plant-Based “Pulled Pork” Nachos

When we say fully loaded nachos we MEAN fully loaded nachos!


  • Preheat the oven to 200C, strain the jackfruit in a colander to remove excess water.

  • Heat a skillet pan over a medium - high heat, add oil and once hot add the jackfruit. Cook for 5 minutes and as the jackfruit softens, use the back of a spoon to mash up the jackfruit to resemble pulled pork.

  • Reduce the heat to medium, sprinkle onion powder, chipotle powder and salt over the jackfruit, stir to coat then pour the BBQ sauce on top. Mix and cook for another 5 minutes then remove from heat.

  • Lay tortilla chips onto a baking tray, spread the jackfruit on top, sprinkle with cheese, onion and tomatoes. Place in the oven for 10 minutes or until golden brown.

  • Serve with avocado and lime juice. Crumble vegan cheese on top. Mix cumin and salt into your chosen sauce (we've used a creamy garlic sauce!)
