Perfect Baked Potato 🥔

Here’s how you can get the perfect baked potato every single time!


  • Preheat the oven to 220C and arrange a rack in the middle of the oven.

  • Scrub the potatoes clean under running water and pat dry. Trim away any blemishes.

  • Rub the potato with oil and generously season with salt and pepper. Prick the potatoes all over with a fork to allow the steam to escape.

  • Bake the potatoes on the rack or place them on foil-lined baking tray. Bake for 50 to 60 minutes, flipping the potatoes over every 20 minutes. Check how the potatoes are doing by pricking with a fork. The potatoes are ready when the skins are dry and the insides feel completely soft.

  • Cut open and add butter to serve!
