Gluten Free Vegan Waffles

There’s only 7 ingredients required to make these gorgeous gluten free waffles and only 30 minutes of your time!

Instructions

  • Mix the almond milk and vinegar together in a bowl, leave to set to activate then add the coconut oil and agave nectar and whisk together.

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the oats, flour, baking powder and salt then add the almond milk mixture, stir until incorporated. The mixture should be slightly thick. Add optional add-ins if desired. Taste and add a pinch of salt if needed.

  • Leave for 5 - 10 minutes while the waffle iron preheats. Once ready, generously coat with oil and pour on some batter (around 120ml). Gluten-free waffles take a little longer so don't open the waffle iron too early!

  • Once cooked, carefully remove and place on a baking rack on a 200C oven to keep warm. Serve with your favourite toppings!
