Chocolate Almond Biscuits

Baking ingredients at the ready! It’s time to make delicious chocolate almond biscuits…


  • Preheat the oven to 180C and line a baking tray with baking paper.

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, cacao powder, ground almonds, icing sugar, baking powder and salt.

  • Pour in half of the oil, mix and continue to add one tablespoon of oil at a time until the mixture comes together without breaking apart by using your hands to squeeze some dough into a ball.

  • Once the dough is ready, divide into equal sized balls and place them on to the prepared baking tray. Leave enough space between each dough ball. Gently press an almond onto the top of the dough.

  • Bake in the oven for 12 to 15 minutes or until cracks form on the surface. Leave to cool before serving.
